Couple's Hidden Gem

The whole house is this beautiful, lovingly restored old French place. And the dinner we had? Edith whipped up a meal that was not just food, it was an experience like nothing else, bringing everyone together around that large communal table.

It wasn't inexpensive but honestly, worth every penny.

The location was stunning and marvellous, in the region.

The room was newly remodelled and romantic, not to mention views over garden from the window. The breakfast had variety of selection, the food was excellent. Its location was quiet and great, in the region, and in a rural area.

The warm welcome from our hosts. The gardens provided a serene backdrop that was perfect. We enjoyed the modern features of our Beautiful Family Suite, which blended beautifully with the hotel's old-world charm.

We hiked nearby trails and enjoyed cycling through the countryside. The rooms were spacious and comfy, and the communal areas made it easy to hang out. Breakfast was tasty, and the staff was super friendly. Don't miss the garden. It's perfect.

Though the overall experience was stellar, getting to local dining options can be a hassle, particularly since many are a drive away. A kettle in the room would enhance the convenience factor, especially for evening tea or morning brews that some might miss. These minor details kept my stay just shy of perfection.
